Top CD does not offer any refund on CDs DVDs, Books or Accessories.
If defective an item will be exchanged for the same title/item providing:-
It is within 14 days of purchase
Client has receipt as proof of purchase
Item is returned with its original packaging and in the same condition it was sold in.
All accessories carry the following warranty providing that it is returned with its original packaging & receipt. Accessories will be exchanged/repaired if the item is returned within the warranty period of the item from the purchase date. If an item can’t be repaired it will be exchanged for exactly the same item.
All Cameras & Turntables carry a 12 month warranty. Any other accessory carry a standard 6 month warranty. Consoles, Games (all platforms) and Electronics.

We do not offer any exchange or refund on Consoles, Games (all platforms) and Electronics. Warranties are carried by and subject to the conditions of the official local distributor or their authorised service agent not Top CD (PTY) Ltd.
The onus is on the purchaser to verify that the products purchased are:
Compatible with their current hardware, operating system or consol.
Accounted for within their original packaging. Top CD Menlyn (Pty) Ltd. does not accept any responsibility for missing product or parts relating to the product once the purchaser leaves the store.

All Electronic and Accessories sold by Top CD (excluding Gaming Consoles) carry their full manufacturer's warranty as stipulated by the official South African distributor, unless otherwise specified. Items under warranty are sent to the relevant supplier or official service center for repair or replacement subject to the return procedure policy of the local distributor.
Warranty support – Gaming Consoles
All Hardware Manufacturer Guarantees are immediately null and void if equipment has been tampered with, warranty stickers have been removed, seals on equipment have been broken by anyone other than the manufacturer’s representative or if the goods have been operated outside the manufacturer’s specifications.
The Warranty on gaming consoles (Playstation, Xbox 360, Nintendo) is carried by the official local distributor or their authorised service agent and not by Top CD. For gaming console warranty claims please contact the following:

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL HARDWARE ORIGINAL PACKAGING IS RETAINED SHOULD A RETURN NEED TO BE DONE (this includes the original box, booklets, controls and cables etc).
Under no circumstances will Top CD be liable for any damage arising from any misuse or abuse of the goods. Top CD cannot be held responsible for any data loss whatsoever from storage media returned for exchange or repair.
Warranty support – Gaming Software
Please ensure that all games and software are compatible with your current hardware, operating system or console as Top CD cannot be responsible for system incompatibilities. System requirements are usually available on the publisher’s official website. Customer to contact the support number listed below and obtain a reference number before any exchange may be done for faulty product. In addition the customer must please provide proof of purchase and all original packaging and booklets.
